Recap of the 4th!

Well as most of you know i had to work the 4th of july 4-10 and i wasnt very happy with that. because as the night rolled in it became more and more dead and i was so happy that i could at least clock off before 10. but before i left i had bought some fireworks. (because at hyvee they dont have the age prompt) but then my sister picked me up and told me that she wasnt going to drop me off at home so we drove to darren's brothers apartment. then when we got there i had grabbed my fireworks and brought them up with me and we watched the fairmont fireworks and then we watched some of my fireworks....now darren and i had 2 21 year old's there so there was some adult supervision. but as the night moved on i realized that my fear of ladders and heights became more alive....jessica had climbed up the ladder first and had to coach me along up the ladder...this ladder was very rickity (sp?) and i hate ladders to begin with so i climbed up and then when it was all done i was the first one down and it seemed to take forever! but i made it and then we finished all of the other fireworks on the solid ground. now in this kit we had some fireworks that were called "piccalo" and they were a riot....all of us laughed so hard that we started crying and darren insisted that we fire all of those off so we did. it was great! (sorry no pics though.)

GOD BLESS THE USA!!!!!!!!!

If tomorrow all the things were gone
I've worked for all
my life

and I had to start again
With
just my family by my side

I'd thank my God
above

To be living here today
'Cause the
flag still stands for freedom

and they can't take that away
hey

CHORUS:
I'm
proud to be an American

where at least I know I'm
free

And I won't forget the men who
died

who gave that right to me
And I
gladly stand up next to you

And defend her still
today

'Cause there ain't no doubt I
love this
land

God bless the
USA

From the lakes of
Minnesota

To the hills of
Tennessee

Across the plains of
Texas

From sea to shining sea
From
Detroit down to Houston

And New York to
L.A.

There's pride in every American
heart

And it's time we stand and
say

I'm proud to be an
American

where at least I know I'm
free

And I won't forget the men who
died

who gave that right to me
And I
gladly stand up next to you

And defend her still
today

'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this
land

God bless the
USA

I'm proud to be an
American

where at least I know I'm
free

And I won't forget the men who
died

who gave that right to me
And I
gladly stand up next to you

And defend her still
today

'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this
land

God bless the
USA

I'm proud to be an
American

where at least I know I'm
free

And I won't forget the men who
died

who gave that right to me
And I
gladly stand up next to you

And defend her still
today

'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this
land

God bless the USA
